Rockman’s Birthday Sees Numerous Digital Releases in Japan
December 17th, 2014 marks the 27th anniversary of Rockman, and Capcom seems to have some big plans in store… well, Capcom of Japan, anyway (time will tell if Capcom USA or Europe follows suit).
On that day, as Heat Man kindly informs us, a number of games will be released to the PlayStation Network in Japan. These include Rockman 8, Rockman Battle & Chase, Rockman X4, Rockman X5, and perhaps most interesting of all, Toron ni Kobun, better known to western audiences as The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, a fairly hard to find title that is a spin-off/prequel to the Mega Man Legends series.
Nintendo fans– Wii U owners, in particular– won’t be left out, either, though the bounty to be had at the moment isn’t quite so plentiful. Nonetheless, both versions of the third Battle Network game– Rockman.EXE 3 and Rockman.EXE 3: Black— will be releases on the same day for 650 yen apiece.
