Falcon Armor Mega Man X Figure from Sentinel RIOBOT a Diamond Previews Exclusive?

If you’ve been following the Mega Man X/Rockman X toy scene as of late, then you might already be aware of the upcoming figure of X in his Falcon Armor from 1000 Toys’ Sentinel RIOBOT line.

Sporting a unique design from Eiichi Shimizu of Ultraman fame, the six-inch figure includes translucent and die-cast parts, interchangeable face and hand parts, an interchangeable X Buster (left arm only) with LED light feature, a base, and a “coin cell.” It also features “many built in mechanisms” that will not only allow the figure to assume a wide variety of poses, but also hold those poses firmly.

While the usual retailers such as AmiAmi (link via Rockman Corner) are taking pre-orders for the item, what’s more interesting is that PREVIEWSworld, the online website for comic/merchandise distributor Diamond, have just revealed that they will be carrying the item as an exclusive of some kind for $155.00 USD, which is roughly equivalent to the 17,000 yen the figure will go for in Japan.

What’s more, they may have it even earlier. Whereas Hobby Dengeki and AmiAmi are listing October 2020 as a vague release window for the product, Previews is stating that they’ll have the figure in shops on September 30th — at least a day earlier, minimum. Taking import times (and possible fees) into account, this seems like the way to go in order to secure yours, so be sure to check in with your local comic book or collectibles shop and see if they can put in a pre-order for you.
