Blue Bomber Badge-a-rama Hits Japan

With the Japanese counterpart to the Mega Man Legacy Collection, Rockman Classics Collection, soon to be released for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan, it seems that Capcom and Nintendo have joined forces to introduce a bevy of Blue Bomber badges into the latter’s latest “Free to Start” title for the handheld, Nintendo Badge Arcade.

The title, which offers the opportunity for free plays yet allows you to purchase more to use any time you wish, offers up numerous digital “badges” which can be used to decorate the folders and blank spots on one’s Nintendo 3DS Home menu. In addition, some badge sets have corresponding backgrounds, and it appears that Rockman may have at least two of those to go around.

There’s no word of a release for these badges outside of Japan, but seeing as we’ve received downloadable goodies such as the StreetPass Puzzle Swap panel featuring Mega Man and friends, it’s not unreasonable to think we’ll see these as well.
