Mega Man Returns in UDON’s
First Mini-Series Starring
the Classic Blue Bomber!

UDON Entertainment is proud to announce MEGA MAN: GEAR MASTERS #1, the debut issue of an all-new four-color adventure starring the original Blue Bomber. Written by Tavis Maiden and illustrated by Ryan Jampole, this action-packed new mini-series launches September 2026.

Set during the era of Mega Man 11, Mega Man: Gear Masters marks a major milestone as UDON’s first comic series centered on the classic incarnation of Mega Man, expanding the world of the iconic hero with new twists, high-stakes battles, and plenty of robot-smashing action!

With the threat of a new batch of robot masters, Dr. Light has upgraded Mega Man using the prototype Double Gear system. Problem is, Dr. Wily (the Double Gear’s creator) wants it back… by any means!! It’s all-out rumbling robot action in Mega Man: Gear Masters!

The return of Mega Man features a wave of variant direct market covers from legendary artists including Ryan Jampole, Tavis Maiden, a movie poster homage by Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz, and a Genzoman incentive cover.

Two UDONstore.com exclusive covers will also be included in the roll-out with Cover X1 – Roll Fashion Edition, illustrated by Keenbiscuit and packaged with an exclusive metal card illustrated by Tavis Maiden; and Cover X2 – Shantae Cosplay Variant.

The popular Roll Fashion variant program will continue throughout the series, with new outfits and matching collectible metal cards featured in every issue.
