Mega Man-esque Ninja Senki DX Hits Steam and PlayStation Store

In addition to the release of Mega Man Legacy Collection for Nintendo 3DS (as well as making physical copies available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4), it seems a new Mega Man-esque title has managed to stealthily sneak out this week.

Tribute Games’ Ninja Senki DX has been released on Steam, the Humble Store, and the PlayStation Store for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita at a price of $4.99. The story follows a shuriken-tossing blue ninja through a platforming adventure as he seeks to avenge his clan’s princess and slay all sorts of baddies.

I caught word of this thanks to USgamer’s Jeremy Parish, who had this to say about the game:

I’ve been wanting to play Ninja Senki for a couple of years now, holding out for a console release… and, coincidentally enough, it arrives on PS4 and Vita today, right alongside its inspiration, the original Mega Man games. Ninja Senki’s credits offer a “special thanks” mention to “INAFKING,” which was long-time series producer Keiji Inafune’s 8-bit pseudonym. Not that I’ve seen Ninja Senki’s credits in person just yet; it’s a ridiculously difficult game, and after beating my head against it for a few hours today I still haven’t seen the credits roll.
