For those of us who were looking for an epic fight against Gamma, this issue definitely delivered.

Wow, it’s almost as though someone tilted the week and most of the news slid down towards the end! Lucas Gilbertson reprises Zero, Mega Man 3 gets an intro, a Jump’N’Shoot Attack review, and a few Mighty No. 9 voices in action.

It’s one of those days for Mega Man. Your home’s been torn to pieces, your former arch-nemesis-turned-good-guy has revealed that he’s still a jerk, your brother tried to kill you over reasons, and… oh yes, nearly forgot: You’ve got a big hulking yellow thing you barely killed once breathing down your neck in the darkness. Just one of those days.

25 issues or so after we got our first look at the robot that Blues was, we finally get the showdown that’s been building up for the entire time.

You know an issue is going to be good when the cover has the heroes’ home burning, his family injured, and the vision of his foe grinning in the firelight.

When last we left off, Mega Man was attempting to use words and robotic morality to convince Gemini Man to stand down and choose a different path for himself.

p>Thanks to the fine folks at Inti Creates and 8-4 Ltd., The Mega Man Network has been able to play through and dissect much of what could be called the first post-Capcom Mega Man game–Mega Man without Mega Man, as it were. But defining Azure Striker Gunvolt in that way would do an injustice to one of the best platformers of this generation.
