Hoo-wee, Capcom has revealed a bit of a Virtual Bombshell today as we look ahead to the rest of 2014 and beyond in the Nintendo eShop. It’s like they’ve taken a folding chair of old games and won’t stop hitting the Virtual Console with new releases of them until they’re good and ready.

This is it: The astounding five-week long “Mega May” event in the Nintendo eShop has made this one for the record books, and it ends on a high note with Mega Man Xtreme 2.

We held off on talking about Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Smash-Fest @ Best Buy to see if there would be any confirmation of Mega Man as a playable character in these demos. Today, that confirmation has arrived! Read on to see where you’ll be able to get your hands on the Blue Bomber and take him for a test run!

We’re nearing the end of the road for “Mega May” with just two titles left, so you know what that means: Today, the long-awaited and relatively rare fifth Mega Man Game Boy title is now available on the Virtual Console for the Nintendo 3DS.

The third week of “Mega May” is upon us, and it brings the fourth title in the classic Mega Man series on the Game Boy.

Just like the headline says, the second and third Mega Man games are now available for the Virtual Console! Which Virtual Console? The Nintendo 3DS one, of course.

What, seriously? Okay then…

Nintendo has just concluded their Super Smash Bros. Direct video, and as you can probably guess from our posting about it here, there was indeed new information about Mega Man’s part in the game to behold!

If you're a fan of Mega Man, then it's a good chance you're aware of the amazing Mega Man Megamix manga by Hitoshi Ariga. Likewise, if you're an aficionado of video games, odds are you're aware of the recent release of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y last month. What do these two things have to do with one another? Well, it turns out that several of the new Pokémon in the games were designed by Ariga-san himself!

Those who follow the week-to-week happenings in the Nintendo eShop know that for one week starting today, Thursday, November 14th, a variety of The Legend of Zelda titles featured on both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS are being marked down. As it turns out, this is part of a larger ongoing deal, and a curious one at that.
