Six Robot Masters down, two to go. And Auto?

Less than a week ago, we got to see the prototype sculpt for Japanese manufacturer X-Plus Toys’ new Gigantic Mega Man (nee Rockman) figure. In a surprisingly quick turnaround, Rockman Unity has posted images of the figure in full color… and a little something extra, too.

For Free Comic Book Day in 2013, those who don’t regularly follow the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog or Mega Man in print format had the opportunity to see what events transpired leading up to the Worlds Collide crossover event. Now, with Worlds Unite on the horizon for the summer of 2015, Archie is going back to the well once again for their annual FCBD offering.

We fell a little behind in our updates due to getting things reorganized around here, but in case you haven’t made it to your local comic book shop today, here’s the preview of the fourth and final part to “Legends of the Blue Bomber” in Archie’s Mega Man #44.

All the way from Arcade Sushi comes a peek at the covers and solicitations for Mega Man #47: “The Ultimate Betrayal”, part three of four. This time, “The Doc is In!”

…or would that be “weirder”? After all, we do now officially have Mega Man-inspired theme park dishes on the books.

First 4 Figures has updated their Facebook page to give us a glimpse of the latest addition to their line of Mega Man statues, this time featuring none other than X!

One thought which is frequently cited among fans, at least in the comments found on posts around here, is that they don’t want Mega Man merchandise, they want Mega Man games. But one must ask: What becomes of the property if we have neither?

When last we left off, Mega Man was attempting to use words and robotic morality to convince Gemini Man to stand down and choose a different path for himself.

Archie’s adaptation of Mega Man 3 continues with the rematch of the century in “The Ultimate Betrayal” part two! Assuming no one gets in the way this time, we can only wonder how things will play out this time as brother faces brother with the fate of the world hanging in the balance!

The penultimate chapter of “Legends of the Blue Bomber” is almost upon us! But before that hits comic book shops and magazine racks, here’s a five page preview from Archie to tease and tantalize you.

As our intrepid hero makes for the thermal-powered asteroid, his new foe is a very old robot indeed… Shadow Man. The only one not designed by Wily.
