As excited as we all are about Archie’s announcement of a series of Mega Man X back-up stories in the Mega Man comic book, there is still the matter at hand of the current storyline, “Blackout: The Curse of Ra Moon”
to deal with. Fortunately, we don’t need to wait long to see how Mega
Man and his allies get out of their current jam, as new preview pages
are now available!

There has been one question on
nearly everyone’s lips from the moment Archie announced that they were
going to be making a comic book based on Mega Man: “When will we see Mega Man X?” 

Archie has just sent out some interesting news for those of you who like
to enjoy a monthly dose of the Blue Bomber on the printed page!

After 12 issues of fighting with and alongside each other in Archie’s
“Worlds Collide,” did you ever wonder if perhaps Mega Man and Sonic the
Hedgehog still had any unfinished business with each other?

As the introduction to his new “E-Heroes” video game retrospective
series, longtime TMMN friend-of-the-site Andrew “Don’t Ask About the
‘W'” Dickman has recently posted a fun look back at how he first became involved with the Blue Bomber. Plus, in light of recent events, he gives his thoughts on Keiji Inafune’s latest pet project, Mighty No. 9.

As if Mighty No. 9 wasn’t already a Mega Man dream team come true, Takeshi Tateishi, the composer of Mega Man 2, has agreed to make time in his busy schedule to collaborate with Manami Matsumae (Mega Man) and Ippo Yamada (Mega Man 9 and 10)!

My, what a mad, mad world we live in.

Thanks to a tip from Sockie, we now have a look at the creepy new cover for the upcoming 33rd issue of Archie’s Mega Man comic book, which deals with the fallout of the “Blackout: The Curse of Ra Moon” story arc.

Late last year, musician RushJet1 released an incredible “cover playthrough” for Mega Man 3, rearranging the game’s original soundtrack with added stereo and VR6C effects.
