If you’re dreaming of a white Christmas everywhere you go, then you don’t have to look much further than some of your favorite video games to find the ground covered in frost, ice, and snow. GameTrailers has rounded up their top five such instances of winter wonderlands across gaming’s very best, and of course, for Mega Man, this theme goes all the way back to the original title on the NES.

Several days ago, during the Mega Man anniversary posting/site update, you might recall that there was a mention of a two-day $2 sale on two Mega Man titles, Mega Man X on Wii U Virtual Console and Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge on Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. You might also recall that certain members of this site were rather irritated that Canadians were being left out in the proverbial cold on this deal.

Archie has released two covers for the upcoming 34th issue of its nearly three-year running Mega Man comic book series.

Granted, this news is a little late in coming here, but given tonight is the launch of the Xbox One and its exclusive, Dead Rising 3, at least it’s timely.

About a month and a half ago, we learned that X would be joining his older sibling on the printed page in Mega Man #34 from Archie, due in February 2014. And now, we have the first solicitation for this tale.

As part of our celebration of the Mega Man series hitting its 25th anniversary, we are featuring a look back at many of the games of the X series. For this entry, I’ll be looking at Mega Man X2,  famous for featuring the Green Biker Dude and being a solid financial investment.

Whereas Rockman X2 arrived on the Wii U Virtual Console in Japan on October 9th, it appears that all signs (which is to say, Wikipedia and this post on GoNintendo) point to the second major clash between X and the Reploids of Sigma's original Maverick uprising will be hitting the European version of the service on Thursday, November 14th, 2013. In other words, tomorrow, though as of this writing, that would be today in Europe.
