In a livestream covered by endless water…

‘Tis the season for Mega Man marathons, it would seem. In addition to the recently-reported Mega Man-athon, the New Year Gamers will be holding a special livestreaming marathon from January 1st to January 2nd, 2014 called “Worlds Collide: A Sonic/Mega Man Marathon for Relief in the Philippines”.

Do you like Mega Man? (If not, then why are you here?) Do you like helping out charitable causes? (If not, then what would Mega Man think?) Do you like music? (…sorry, we got nothing). If you answered “yes” to at least one of these questions, then read on!

Twenty-five hours, 18 Mega Man games, and a few pretty nifty prizes ranging from paintings to plushies.

Just a reminder for everyone that this weekend, starting at noon EST on Saturday, October 26th, I’ll be holding the Sonic Lost World “First Play” Charity Marathon to benefit the Sick Kids Foundation. Joining me will be Ian Flynn, writer of Archie’s Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Universe, and Mega Man comics.

Well, it looks like I’m not the only one hosting a marathon this October. But unlike mine, this one is pure Mega Man from top to bottom– or rather, Mega Man X.

This is actually related to Mega Man. Kind of. Seriously.
