Inafune Expresses Intense Dislike for His Job
When one sees Keiji Inafune, Capcom’s head of Research & Development, Online Business, and Global Head of Production, not to mention one of the founding fathers of Mega Man, he is often cheerful and enthusiastic about his projects, smiling and willing to give a portion of his time to do interviews and even quick sketches […]

A couple weeks back we unveiled our new podcast program on TMMN, the Megacast. However, though the show was only intended to run once a month, and for good cause, I felt that might still be too sparse to keep the show relevant to listeners. And thus was born the Minicast. This no frills, just […]

In a move which is at once surprising, yet not surprising at all, Capcom has at long last announced the long-awaited sequel to Mega Man Legends 2. Appropriately, Mega Man Legends 3, or rather, “Mega Man Legends 3 Project,” will be in 3D, for Nintendo’s new 3DS handheld. From Capcom Unity: TMMN Staff

Edit: Well, looks like kept his word! Keiji Inafune is facing some interesting times these days. He’s come out very vocally against the gaming industry in Japan, and the stagnation of games in general. Over at his Daletto blog, he occasionally takes the time to discuss his feelings, his desires and his hardships working in […]

From the outset, it has been clear that Capcom’s Dead Rising has more in common with Mega Man than creator Keiji Inafune. Of course, it is likely because of the Inafune connection that a number of nods to Mega Man fans have been present in the zombie-bashing title. In the original game, protagonist Frank West […]

Been a while since we presented any Mega Man mysteries for you, but we have a neat new one today! I’ll admit, however, that this is a more open-and-shut case than our previous features of the Capcom Hand and Wily’s Mystery Pipe. But this story is still an interesting one, because it’s about a Robot […]

Anime News Network has an interview with Keiji Inafune up, and while the majority of the discussion concerns Dead Rising 2, they did take the time to ask him some Mega Man related questions: Will you make movies about any other CAPCOM games? Like a live-action Mega Man? Inafune: Mega Man would make a good movie, but […]

It sounds like Comic-Con has been pretty overwhelming for Keiji Inafune, at least according to his own blog.* At yesterday’s “Capcom 2010 and Beyond” discussion panel, the hall, which can house up to 2500 people, was fully packed. Inafune was astonished by the strong showing of Capcom fans support, which he again notes he doesn’t […]
