A little over a year ago, we shared with you the Kickstarter plight of one Preston Poland, who sought to develop a classic table-top role playing game inspired by the likes of Mega Man (as well as Transformers and Gundam). Thanks to 153 backers, the project was funded “with gusto,” and The Robot Age became a reality.

As our intrepid hero makes for the thermal-powered asteroid, his new foe is a very old robot indeed… Shadow Man. The only one not designed by Wily.

So here we are at the last game for the NES. This time, Wily puts on a fake beard and sunglasses to hold a robot tournament and steal the contestants, so our newest batch of Robot Masters is meant to be from various places around the world, leading to somewhat flashier designs than we’re used to.

Bandai’s new Figuarts Zero figure (not to be confused with their Figuarts ZERO line of unarticulated figures/statues) is slated for a November release here in North America, but over in Japan, it seems that several fans have gotten theirs already. As a result: Pictures!
