>Perhaps inspired from last year’s “Rockcan Sound E-Can,” a new listing
has popped up on Rakuten in Japan for a “Rockman X Sound Box” (tentative
title), which would appear to be an all new Mega Man X  series soundtrack compilation.<

>The Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter
has reached its next goal, clearing the $2,550,000 needed to add an
extra level and end boss to Beck’s adventure. And the best part is,
there was no need to divert funds away from Sick Kids to do it!

In what’s seemingly the final boss reveal
for the Kickstarter updates, Comcept shows off the stealth and sniping
themed boss robot Mighty No. 8. Decked out in a cape and radar dish hat,
this combatant is so serious he doesn’t even bother to repair his
missing right arm.

Mighty No. 9‘s Kickstarter campaign recently unveiled PayPal funding and
with it came a bit of a caveat: we don’t actually know the exact amount
of funding the project receives via this method. However, they promised
us periodic updates and the first one is here!

If you happen to be heading to the New York Comic Con next month, take note. Bluefin Tamashii Nations will have the Figuarts ZER Sigma statue on sale.

>After two years of the Nintendo 3DS being on sale, it’s finally happening. The other Gameboy Mega Man  games are coming. 3DS owners on Japan will be able to purchase Rockman World 2 next week on the 25th, for ¥400.<

Great news for all of those who have wanted to play Mighty No.  9 
  the way classic action platformers are meant to be played. The
Kickstarter has just surpassed its goal of 2.2 million, meaning the game
will be made available digitally on Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360 systems!

The weekend is over, and a new evil Mighty No. is revealed. And this
week’s boss feature, Mighty No. 3, might be the most striking yet. You
had a taste from the puzzle 100,000 Strong and us provided, but how do
your musings from that compare to the real deal?

We earlier showed you Inafune’s sketch providing a sneak peek at Mighty
No. 3. However, as reward for solving the puzzle, Daniel was presented
with some new, unseen concept art that he has agreed to let us share
(thanks man!). And while Beck might have his hands full with his fellow
Mighty Nos., the developers plan to throw some huge bosses at him, too.

Fans of Mega Man  music (which should be all of you) have something big to get excited over. Mega Man 
is getting not one, but two 25th anniversary albums next month. But
this time they’re not coming out of Japan – they’re being made right
here in the West! 

For reals, this time! (Ha ha ha) Here is your sneak peek at the electric themed Mighty No. 3. The puzzle provided by ourselves and 100,000 Strong was completed by Daniel Goldberg. This concept sketch by Inafune gives us some insight onto the boss’s appearance.

In an update from Rockman Unity that’s probably not surprising to many, considering we haven’t heard about it since spring, Capcom of Japan’s Rockman Ultrabook project has been given the axe.
