Mega Man Prepares to Throw Down with Astro Boy in a Death Battle

So last Saturday, I’m watching the season finale of ScrewAttack’s “The Industry,” in part because they decided to use that as the place to reveal the next match-up for their “Death Battle” series. It was kind of subtle, at first, as a match-up is shown on a smartphone screen for a brief moment. Since the whole episode was about the “Death Battle” hard drive with all the match-ups for the next year being stolen, I figured it was just going to be one of many, but no — that one match was, of course, the match.

And what a match! Mega Man vs. Astro Boy? Should be a lot of fun. “Should I post about this?” I thought to myself. “Nah, there will be more to come. People will probably just want me to wait for the full episode to come out,” I reasoned, forgetting about the slow burn that led up to the battle of armies between Dr. Wily and Dr. Eggman (still waiting on what feels like an obvious follow-up to that).

Then ScrewAttack rolled out their promo for Mega Man… and in came the tips. And more tips. So many tips! Clearly a miscalculation on my part, but who am I to ignore such demand?
