From Pixels to Plastic: Mega Man Revisited and Kotobukiya Reviews

A few years ago, we made a post about a video series called “From Pixels to Plastic,” a video game toy review show which featured an episode about Mega Man action figures, including those licensed from the cartoon show.
With all of the more recent releases in the Kotobukiya and Bandai D-Arts lines, we thought now was as good a time as any to revisit this video, which looks back at what came before, giving us– and perhaps those who never owned any of the older figures or model kits– a chance to reflect on how far Mega Man figures have come.

As mentioned at the top of this post, we did look at this once before, and invite you to check out that earlier post for some interesting facts surrounding the old Mega Man cartoon and Capcom’s involvement in it.

And, as one might expect, host Pixel Dan has indeed gone on to make two more recent episodes, each focusing on the Kotobukiya figures of Mega Man and Proto Man, respectively.

These videos provide a good, in-depth look at what the kits provide and how they fit together, as well as some of the negatives, such as the issues with what decals are included.
