Recently, we got to see some screens from the very-early-in-development α2 ROM of Mighty No. 9, courtesy of a sneak-peek provided to members of Comcept’s forum dedicated to the game. At the recent D.I.C.E. 2014 expo, Inafune held a talk and featured the following short clip of himself playing the ROM.

These include “Super Mario Busters”, a Ghostbusters and Super Mario Bros. mash-up, along with its sequel, “The New Super Mario Busters 2” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Troopas”, which mashes the Marios up with the Heroes in a Half-shell.
