Press Release: UDON Adds Lunar Distribution, Moves FBCD titles exclusively to Lunar External
UDON Entertainment opens comics distribution with Lunar Distribution,

UDON Free Comic Book Day Titles to be handled exclusively by Lunar, Diamond Orders Cancelled.
UDON Entertainment have announced today that they have entered a non-exclusive distribution agreement with Lunar Distribution to handle their direct market sales, beginning with May 2025-shipping comic book products.
While almost all orders placed with Diamond will be filled, the exception to this will be UDON’s two Free Comic Book Day titles. The sales and distribution of these two titles will be handled exclusively by Lunar Distribution. The two titles are Street Fighter vs. Rival Schools #1 and Mega Man #0, both of which lead into new mini-series and other products for 2025 (see info below).
Retailers: All Diamond orders for Mega Man #0 and Street Fighter vs. Rival Schools #1 made through Diamond will be cancelled, and you are asked to re-order these books from Lunar with an FOC Date of February 24, 2025.

“It’s a rocky time for the entire comic industry right now,” said UDON Chief of Operations Erik Ko. “Diamond has been a very supportive partner of UDON since we started publishing over 20 years ago, and we respect that support a great deal. We are very hopeful that Diamond can come back strong from Chapter 11 restructuring, but with the uncertainty ahead it makes the most sense for us and for the retailers who carry our books to open up our distribution options and make our materials available through additional partners like Lunar Distribution.”
UDON’s first books to be distributed through Lunar will be the two Free Comic Book Day issues, again, handled exclusively through Lunar, in time for Free Comic Book Day, May 3, 2025. Regular comics offerings will be available from both Lunar and Diamond starting with May 2025’s Mega Man Timelines #1. All orders (except for FCBD issues) placed for UDON comic books to date through Diamond will be honored and filled, including three exciting new comic book issues detailed below.
Additional updates will be made as more information becomes available. Retailers and other affected parties, please direct questions about this announcement to press@udonentertainment.com.

This post has recreated the email from hand to be as accurate as possible to how it originally appeared, but some limitations (such as having to turn the Preview and Coming Soon boxes into images instead of active text, as well as being unable to utilize a smaller text size for some portions) prevented a 100% accurate translation.
