Not a Rumor: D-Arts Zero Type 2 Coming in May (Updated)

Last week we posted on some talk that Bandai had Zero Type 2 at the ready for the May releases in Japan. I doubt anyone had a reason to doubt it, but nevertheless it’s really happening. And here is a sweet, sweet promotional image just to show you they mean business. No details are known yet of the figure’s features and extra parts, but if this image along with what was shown off at Tamashii Nation is any indication, there will be at least two saber parts.
Zero Type 2 was listed among the choices in Bluefin’s own Facebook character poll, and given Bandai’s flawless track record of bringing over the X series characters, I think North America can look forward to saying “hello” to Zero Type 2 in short order.

Update: Bluefin Tamashii has updated their Facebook gallery with additional pics of Zero in action (and confirming the multiple saber parts). He’ll retail for ¥3500, and US release is planned in June. See, that didn’t take too long at all!
