Nadia & David’s Mega Man Mayhem: Mega Man 11 (Part 2)

Okay, been dealing with some behind-the-scenes stuff on the site here, so some stuff is going up a little later than planned — including this. But I think we’re all good now?

Anyway, last week, Nadia and I took on Mega Man 11, a game we’ve really only played through and completed once, versus all the hours of our youth spent on earlier entries. As such, we weren’t sure how we were going to do here, as this game has some tricky segments. Chalk it up to muscle memory, experience, or whatever you like, but we didn’t do too bad for ourselves after all this time — three Robot Masters in a 90 minute period!

That begged the question: Could we match that rate this week?

Check it out — you might just be surprised by the result!

Not too shabby, eh?

Next time we come at you, we’re back on “Nadia & David Ruin Video Games” and continuing with the Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Super Mario Bros. Wonder!

Of course, life happens, and while Mega Man plans, Dr. Wily laughs. So follow The Mega Man Network on Bluesky and Twitter, and we usually announce what we’re doing, if we’re doing it about a day out.

“Nadia & David’s Mega Man Mayhem” is a 90-minute stream we’ll be doing about once a month, where the plan is to play through every Mega Man game we can in (mostly) chronological order, according to the timeline. We started with the first Mega Man, and after we finished that, started Mega Man 2, and so on. Next time, we’ll pick up where we left off, and go on like so.

Once Classic is done, we’ll move on to Mega Man X, then Mega Man Zero, and so on. (And with any luck, there will be a “Mega Man Legends Legacy Collection” or something by the time we get to that, but if not, we have a contingency or two in mind.)

And of course, we love interacting with the chat during these streams, so if you’ve got questions about the Mega Man Field Guides from UDON, Legends of the Halcyon Era, the Mega Man comics, poutine recipes, or just want to chat and share the love of Mega Man, drop on in! We’d love to have you!

Keep an eye on our Twitter/Bluesky (or just the sidebar here) to find out when we’re streaming next! We usually announce it a day or so ahead of time.

Special shout-out to Victor Campan, who has provided the art of Red Draco and Black Draco you can see in the “Mega Man Mayhem” banner!

And if you’d like to support our streaming habits, please be sure to consider donating to our Ko-fi or Patreon!

Thanks for reading!
