Nadia & David’s Mega Man Mayhem: Mega Man 6 (Part 2)
This would have come sooner, but GDQ was last week, and we didn’t want to run up against that. Incidentally, this also means that our “Mega Man Games Done Quick” and “Mega Man-esque Games Done Quick” playlists have been updated!
With that said, I just wanted to give a quick update on what’s going on around here, prefaced with a quick apology for not getting certain new articles updated here. Most specifically, talking more about “Beyond 21XX” and the next episode of “Legends of the Halcyon Era.” In the meantime, there is the recent recap of the latter I posted in anticipation of the former, for anyone who wants to quickly get up to speed. For those who’ve already read, I also added a list of my personal faves at the end, along with a few little tidbits of trivia!
I hoped those would be on their way soon, but things have been a little rough around here — kind of “under the weather” type stuff, including me on a bit of a rough, derailed sleep schedule that’s not doing me nor my productivity much good. I hope to get that righted soon, though! Then maybe I can get back on track!
However, I will say I haven’t been completely unproductive. It’s more like several irons are in the fire, and none are quite ready just yet. Some include the above, but I’ve got a few other things in the works as well that I hope I’ll get to reveal to you soon!
With all that out of the way, here’s the latest edition of “Nadia & David’s Mega Man Mayhem!” This week, we finished Mega Man 6, and wrapped up the first Mega Man Legacy Collection! We even did a few challenges and a look through the ol’ gallery, just to round things out, and even squeezed in a little bit of “X Challenge” mode from the first Mega Man X Legacy Collection! (It is the 30th anniversary of Mega Man X, after all…)
Oh, and yeah, the sound got reset between sessions. Sorry about that! It gets sorted before long, though.
Also, if you’re interested in what we were talking to Galileo Potato about, you can find their hour-long “Kattelox Island Ruins | White Noise for Digging | Collect Zenny, Defeat Reaverbots, Calm Your Mind” right here! I think I’ll try listening to this the next time I write about the gang going into some ruins in “Legends of the Halcyon Era”…
Finally, when “Nadia & David’s Mega Man Mayhem” returns, we’re going to go back in time with Mega Man II for the Game Boy! …or will that be back to the future (cue chime) with the color mod that’s been in the works? Tune in and see!

“Nadia & David’s Mega Man Mayhem” is a 90-minute stream we’ll be doing about once a month, where the plan is to play through every Mega Man game we can in chronological order, according to the timeline. We started with the first Mega Man, and after we finished that, started Mega Man 2, and so on. Next time, we’ll pick up where we left off, and go on like so.
As for the Game Boy games? Well, we’ll see what we can do, but without them being on a modern console with HDMI-out, our options are limited. But we’ll try.
Once Classic is done, we’ll move on to Mega Man X, then Mega Man Zero, and so on. (And with any luck, there will be a “Mega Man Legends Legacy Collection” or something by the time we get to that, but if not, we have a contingency or two in mind.)
And of course, we love interacting with the chat during these streams, so if you’ve got questions about the Mega Man Field Guides from UDON, Legends of the Halcyon Era, poutine recipes, or just want to chat and share the love of Mega Man, drop on in! We’d love to have you!
Keep an eye on our Twitter (or just the Twitter sidebar here) to find out when we’re streaming next! We usually announce it a day or so ahead of time.
And if you’d like to support our streaming habits, please be sure to consider donating to our Ko-fi or Patreon!
Thanks for reading!
