Legends Toons: Get MegaMan Volnutt Outta There

So, here’s something just a little different for today.

Just under a year ago, a thought crossed my mind, which I shared on Twitter: Why hasn’t anyone done something like this?

Fast-forward about a year, and as part of the daily “#Rocktober2023” themed art prompts going on over on SMOKAT (Social Media Once Known As Twitter), PizzaStart decided to fulfill my wish:

I was overjoyed, of course. In fact, you might even say I was over the moon. *rimshot*

But, there was still more to be done. I’ve been tinkering a little bit with video editing, slowly learning as I go, and I decided to match the visuals with the audio from the cartoon which inspired it, Warner Bros.’ Looney Tunes short, “Haredevil.”

While I wasn’t able to accomplish everything I set out to do with this (I wanted to pan down the final panel before closing with an iris wipe to dark; I don’t think the software I was using, Microsoft Clipchamp, is capable of either), I’m still satisfied enough with it to share it here. And I hope you enjoy it as we continue waiting for Capcom to remember MegaMan Volnutt again and finally “get him outta there.”
