TMMN-TV Playlist: Mega Man-esque Games Done Quick

A couple of months ago, I presented to you, for your viewing pleasure, a cultivated playlist of “Mega Man Games Done Quick,” featuring pretty much any video I could find from the folks at Games Done Quick that featured a Mega Man title.

For those unaware, Games Done Quick is a group who organizes events throughout the year featuring speedrunners plying their craft across various video games both good and bad, in a series of charity marathons to raise money for Prevent Cancer Foundation and Doctors Without Borders USA.

Now, as promised, here is the follow-up: “Mega Man-esque Games Done Quick.”

Mega Man has had an influence on a good number of other video games. Some in big ways, like Mighty No. 9, and some smaller, like Power Blade. Regardless, I tried to gather up as many of the games that I could think of from GDQ’s archives, and add them to this playlist. If there are others you think fit the bill (Shovel Knight? I’m thinking I should add Shovel Knight, but I’m a little on the fence about it), then let me know, and I’ll see about adding them!
