Mega News: New Battle Network Legacy Collection Footage Directly from Nintendo & More

Here is your Mega News Roundup for the week. Available as a video on the ShadowRockZX YouTube channel or through the embed above! This week, as per annual tradition, Nintendo hosted their February Direct focusing on Nintendo Switch titles in the first half of 2023. And wouldn’t you know it, that included about 10 seconds of new Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection footage for us to analyze! The ESRB recently posted their official rating for the collection, too! After that, it is time to catch up with the recent announcement of the (frankly terrible) Mega Man X iOS port coming to Android… it only took 12 years. Last but not least, Protodude of Rockman Corner has the scoop on some planned DLC that would have become available for the ill-fated Mega Man Universe had it not been cancelled shortly after Keiji Inafune’s departure from Capcom. I do have a small correction to make: In the video, I said that Masakazu Eguchi was talking about the “TreeBomb Prism combo” at Tokyo Game Show 2022. It was actually in a Capcom blog post following Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection‘s “2nd trailer” in December 2022. This one, in fact. Everything else said still stands though. Please enjoy!
