Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack is Coming to PlayStation 4

Inti Creates has dropped a surprise announcement that the two-game combo pack of Azure Striker Gunvolt and Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, collectively known as the Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack, will soon be available on the PlayStation 4.

The Striker Pack presents both games, originally released on the Nintendo 3DS, in high definition with a frame rate of 60 frames per second, versus the originals’ 30 FPS. The hand-drawn art, text, and other visual elements have also been cleaned up to take advantage of the higher resolution, while fine-tuning to the menus, gameplay, and balance of the game have been added. Plus, all the previously available downloadable content is included, as well as a new theme song from Lumen for the PlayStation 4 version.

“After our multi-platform release of the Gunvolt spinoff title Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX,” states Inti Creates in a press release, “we couldn’t be happier to share the fact that PlayStation users will soon be able to play every game in the Gunvolt universe in the near future!”
