‘The Batman’ Screenwriter Working on Mega Man Movie
It would seem that rumors of the Mega Man movie’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.
Granted, we haven’t heard anything about the movie in a while, and what we did hear last was just reiteration of what we already knew. Nevertheless, there is finally something new to be said about the ongoing effort to bring the Blue Bomber to the silver screen.
It isn’t much, but a name has been attached to the project in the role of writer. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the task will fall to Mattson Tomlin. If that name sounds familiar, it might mean you’re a fan of DC Comics, as Tomlin is also attached to the upcoming re-re-re-reboot of Batman, known currently as The Batman.
In response to the news, Tomlin simply tweeted the following:
Out of endless options, it’s this gif really resonates with me. https://t.co/XXBwpco8qi pic.twitter.com/6C6lBldUtH

At this time, there really isn’t anything else to report, but at least it’s something, right?
