FictionSphere Hits Kickstarter

It’s been a while since we last heard anything from Team Einherjar about their Mega Man-esque title, FictionSphere — over a year, in fact. But today, they’re back to not only show off more of the game, but also to announce it’s now on Kickstarter!

When last we saw it, the game was a Mega Man Zero/ZX-ish platformer which incorporated elements of a beat ‘em up, but since then, new styles of gameplay have been thrown into the mix. As you can see in the trailer above, there is now some gallery shooting and even 3D racing segments!

A new, finalized playable demo is now available to check out for free on Game Jolt, and if you like what you see there, then maybe you should check out the Kickstarter the group has just launched on July 19th (they take PayPal, too).

As of this writing, the group has already raised $3,021 USD of their $20,000 USD goal, with 31 days remaining. The game seems poised for a Steam release (it was greenlit when Steam Greenlight was still a thing), and stretch goals are set for other platforms as well.

Thanks to Team Einherjar and TheLastGogeta for the tips!
