Capcom Releases ‘Project Battle’ as ‘TEPPEN’ to iOS and Google Play

Well, that was a pretty quick turnaround!

Capcom must have been happy with the reaction to their “Project Battle” previews, because the game — now retitled “TEPPEN” — is now available for you to download for free on iOS (Version 10.0 or later) and Android devices (6.0 or later) via the Google Play store.

Now, for those of you who weren’t completely frightened away by the game’s unique redesign of Mega Man X, read on for more info.

There is also much, much more to be found on the now-launched official website. The FAQ notes that this is a free-to-play game which offers paid items through the “hard currency” of Jewels, which can be obtained through gameplay or via purchase.

As a side note, while this game seems to be a go for the United States and Canada, I’m not sure what the status is in the App and Google Play stores throughout the rest of the world.
