INTRODUCTORY NOTE
So this is a Trophy guide. That means I wrote it with the PlayStation 4 version of the game in mind. If you have the Switch or Xbox One version, then all of this information remains the same, but there are different names for the achievements or what-have-you. For the purposes of this guide, I will be classifying trophies/achievements by rank and type as shown on the PS4.
VERSION HISTORY
V1.0 (28 JULY 2018):
– Initial structure completed. Trophy descriptions mostly complete.
V1.1 (31 JULY 2018):
– Remodeled guide structure to fit more with traditional TMMN guides.
– Clarified some information about Mega Man X completion trophy.
– Edited notes about Mega Man X2 run route as it pertains to defeating the Mavericks and getting the Sponge trophy early.
– Revised Mega Man X3 roadmap to scale down to a single playthrough with only two soft resets, changed descriptions of some trophies to include strategies for Bit/Byte/Vile, and realized that two trophy entries were completely blank. Fixed that oversight.
– Edited trophy description for Ride Armor/Dragoon trophy in Mega Man X4.
Trophy Acquisition Roadmaps
The following section contains the roadmap paths for the first four games as well as a breakdown of the trophies with unlock requirements and their colors. Roadmaps are provided to give you the best path through the game to quickly collect as many trophies as possible.
Mega Man X
You can acquire every single trophy in a single playthrough except for the “HIS NAME IS VAVA” one, because this requires starting a new game using the Japanese version. Play the game as you would normally, except do not pick up the Arm Upgrade from Flame Mammoth’s stage; wait instead for Zero to give it to you during the first stage of Sigma’s Fortress. Get the Spiral Buster trophy in the same stage as Zero’s Buster (use it for the final hit on Bospider), and then get the Flame Mammoth trophy in the rematch during Sigma Stage 3. Remember that you can’t trigger Rookie Mode at any point, or you won’t earn the regular completion trophy.
Mega Man X2
You can acquire every single trophy in a single playthrough. In order to do so, you must encounter and fight the three X-Hunters and acquire Zero’s parts so that the real Zero appears in the fifth Sigma stage. The easiest way to do this is to fight Wheel Gator and Bubble Crab first, and then hit the X-Hunters in the following order: Go to Overdrive Ostrich’s stage and fight Violen, then go to Wire Sponge’s stage and fight Agile, and finally go to Crystal Snail’s stage and fight Serges. It is totally optional for you to fight the Mavericks in these stages as you go along (although you can easily loop Overdrive Ostrich with the X-Buster and then get the Wire Sponge trophy when you visit that stage to fight Agile).
The only other trophy that will be potentially troublesome is the one for Magna Centipede’s stage, but practice dashing and moving in safe zones to avoid triggering the lights. Remember that this one has to be done before actually defeating Magna Centipede. Also remember that you can’t trigger Rookie Mode at any point, or you won’t earn the regular completion trophy.
Mega Man X3
This game requires just a single playthrough to get all of the trophies, but you’ll have to save and reset the game a few times unless you want to do a second playthrough for the Z-Saber trophy. I recommend playing the game as you would normally, using the X-Buster for Bit and Byte to get those two, then saving before you go take on Vile MK-2. Defeat him once using the X-Buster for those two trophies, then reload your previous save and go fight Vile again, destroying him this time with the Ray Splasher/Spinning Blade and saving again. Then finish up the Mavericks and collect all items before going to the Doppler stages.
Halfway through the first stage, slide down the wall into the secret area to find Dr. Light’s secret capsule containing the Hyper Armor. Once you get the armor and unlock the trophy, reset the game again and go through Doppler’s lab like normal. In the second stage, make sure to use Zero to fight Mosquitus so you can get the Z-Saber, then finish up the game and beat Kaiser Sigma with the Beam Saber or X-Buster so that you get the two trophies for beating him, and then just wait through the end credits sequence for the final completion trophy. Remember that you can’t trigger Rookie Mode at any point or you won’t earn this one.
Mega Man X4
This game will require two complete playthroughs — one as X and one as Zero. As X, you can’t use the cheat code to get the Ultimate Armor, because one trophy specifically forbids you from acquiring it during gameplay. There is a second one that makes you use a Nova Strike, but you earn that anyway from the Body Upgrade. Play through normally as X and as Zero, and you should be able to earn every trophy along the way.
Note that once you have earned a trophy that otherwise applies to both characters, like “Fully Charged”, this means you don’t have to do it again during the other character’s game. Once you beat the game as both X and Zero without using Rookie Mode, you’ll get all trophies for this title.
Trophy Classifications/Requirements
Trophies are categorized into four distinct classes — Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Bronze are easier to obtain and usually don’t require a whole lot. As you progress up, the requirements are usually larger or more difficult. A Platinum Trophy, when available in a game, is only earned once every other trophy has been earned. Below is a list of trophies in the game by category,
as well as detailed descriptions on what to do for each one.
Platinum Trophy (1)
SA-Class Hunter
This one is the game’s platinum trophy, and is only acquired once you’ve earned all other trophies in the game. There are no other special unlock requirements; once you earn the last trophy during gameplay, the Platinum Trophy will automatically unlock.
Gold Trophy (1)
Half the Saga
Earn the Completion Trophies for Mega Man X, Mega Man X2, Mega Man X3, and Mega Man X4. Remember that the completion trophies don’t unlock if you have spent any portion of the game in Rookie Mode.
Silver Trophies (13)
In the Heart of Battle (Mega Man X)
Earn this one by acquiring the special Hadoken power-up. To earn this, you must have all eight Heart Tanks, all four Sub Tanks, all four pieces of the First Armor, and have beaten all eight Mavericks.
Once you have completed those requirements, visit Armored Armadillo’s stage four times and reach the life energy capsule on the ledge above the door leading to the boss room. On the fourth time, you must reach the ledge with full health, and a Light Capsule will be there. Enter it to learn the Hadoken fireball, and trigger it by pressing Down, Down-Forward, Forward and Attack while X is at full health and standing on the ground. This fireball destroys all enemies in a single hit except for the Wolf Sigma.
How Long Will He Keep Fighting? (Mega Man X)
This is the game completion trophy for Mega Man X. It unlocks as long as you don’t use Rookie Mode at all during a single playthrough, and you must wait after the credits for Sigma’s hidden message about returning. Once his message is complete, wait about 10 seconds and you’ll get the trophy.
Note: I’ve heard a number of complaints about this particular trophy not unlocking for people. I didn’t get it on my first playthrough, and I attributed it to playing around in Rookie Mode for a bit for damage testing and whatnot. It unlocked for me in my second playthrough, however.
Attack Me If You Dare (Mega Man X2)
Earn this one by acquiring the special Shoryuken power-up. To earn this, you have to have all eight Heart Tanks, all four Sub Tanks, all four pieces of the Second Armor and have beaten all eight Mavericks.
While in the third X-Hunter stage, you’ll reach a path going up and another going down. Lure a Bat Bone over to the ladder and freeze it with the Crystal Hunter. Climb up and you’ll have to use a charged Speed Burner dash to cross some spikes. Climb up past the next few enemies and you’ll see another section of spikes shaped sort of like a square. Here, air dash to the right, then drop and use a charged Speed Burner dash to the left to grab the wall. Keep sliding down the left-hand wall and ensure you are at full health. There will be a hidden section you can slide into where the Light Capsule will appear. Once you have it, you can trigger it if X is at full health and standing on the ground by pressing Forward, Down, Down-Forward and Attack.
This attack usually one-shots enemies and bosses, but depending on how you hit them, sometimes they will just take massive damage instead. This particularly matters with Morph Moth and Wire Sponge, as using this attack will only move them to their second phase. It’s worth noting that you can potentially one-shot the Sigma Virus if you trap the boss in the upper-left corner, but otherwise it takes three to four successful Shoryukens to kill it.
The Price of Peace is Often High (Mega Man X2)
This is the game completion trophy for Mega Man X2. It unlocks as long as you don’t use Rookie Mode at all during a single playthrough, and you must wait after the credits for Zero to appear and create the “Thanks for Playing!” message. Once that happens, wait about 10 seconds and you’ll get the trophy.
Speed Isn’t Everything (Mega Man X3)
This one is pretty easy. After defeating two Mavericks, Bit and Byte will appear in the mid-boss rooms during the stages at random. You will encounter Bit first, and then once you have taken down another three Mavericks, Byte will begin to appear. To get this trophy, simply encounter Bit without utilizing any Ride Armor platforms, and then defeat him using only the X-Buster. Bit has a very repetitive pattern; jump on the wall to bait him into air-dashing at your level, then fire at him when he drops. If he uses fireballs, dodge and re-loop him for an easy victory.
Power Isn’t Everything (Mega Man X3)
This one is a little bit more difficult than the previous one. After you have defeated two Mavericks, Bit and Byte will appear in the mid-boss rooms during the stages at random. You will encounter Bit, and then once you have taken down another three Mavericks, Byte will begin to appear. To get this trophy, simply encounter Byte without utilizing any Ride Armor platforms, and then defeat him using only the X-Buster. Byte is a little bit harder, but if you wait about one second after his magnetic mine attaches to the wall, then dash jump to the wall and leap over him, you’ll never be in danger of being hit by his dashing punch attack.
Persistence Isn’t Everything (Mega Man X3)
For this one, I would recommend at least having the Leg Parts and Body Parts so you are more mobile and you have more protection. Also have a few full Sub Tanks in reserve in case you need a life boost. Anyway, as with the Nightmare Police, Vile MK-2 also starts showing up in Maverick stages once you have defeated two of them. Take the hidden paths to the portal that leads to his mini-stage, and once you reach him, you can only use the X-Buster.
Vile has two forms – his Ride Armor form and then Vile himself. You can’t use special weapons on either form. The Ride Armor fight is exceedingly simple: Just dash jump to the wall, dash jump over the Armor, drop and attack, then repeat the same sequence over and over. For Vile himself, he starts with his fire attack. Avoid it, then bait him into using his bullet attack. Every time he drops to the ground, hit him with a charged shot. Repeat strategy for an easy win.
Note: It’s recommended you save your game before attempting this trophy, so that once you get it, you can soft-reset the game and re-fight Vile to kill him with the Spinning Blade or Ray Splasher so that Mosquitus spawns in the second Doppler stage (needed for the next trophy).
He Wanted You to Have This (Mega Man X3)
This trophy is for getting Zero to hand off his Z-Saber (Beam Saber in this game) to X. Ordinarily Zero has only one life and if he dies, he’s done for the entire game. However, Zero can fight one mini-boss, and that’s Mosquitus, found in the long color room in the second Doppler Lab Stage. To spawn Mosquitus, though, you need to encounter Vile MK-2 in the initial eight Maverick stages and destroy him using the Ray Splasher or the Spinning Blade weapon (so that he explodes rather than flees). Once you’ve fulfilled this requirement, switch to Zero before entering the mini-boss door and then defeat Mosquitus. He will attach to Zero and explode, somehow critically damaging him. X will appear and Zero will give a speech about how he’s just not that good and maybe X should use the sword. (This speech doesn’t really occur, but it seems like it should be the actual text.) Once Zero hands off the Saber, the trophy will unlock.
X-Treme Danger (Mega Man X3)
So this one says that you have to defeat Kaiser Sigma without using the Hyper Chip. This means you can’t acquire the Hyper Armor from the capsule in the first Doppler stage. Follow the roadmap instructions above to still earn this in a single playthrough. Basically, you just fight Kaiser Sigma like you would normally without any benefits of the gold Hyper Armor. Use the Beam Saber for a quicker kill. You can get this and the “It’s Over… Right?” trophy at the same time using this method.
To Save Mankind (Mega Man X3)
This is the game completion trophy for Mega Man X3. It unlocks as long as you don’t use Rookie Mode at all during a single playthrough, and you must wait after the credits for the “Thanks for Playing!” message. Once that happens, wait about ten seconds and you’ll get the trophy.
Tragic Destiny (Mega Man X4)
This is the game completion trophy for Mega Man X4. It doesn’t matter which character you use, and as with the other ones, you can’t use Rookie Mode at all during the game. Once the credits have finished, wait about ten seconds and you should get the trophy.
Elite (X Challenge)
You get this one by completing one X Challenge stage using only the X-Buster. You can’t equip any special weapons, and you have to defeat all six Mavericks within the 30 minute total time limit.
You can earn this one by setting it to Easy Mode, which significantly reduces the difficulty. Pick the first mission for the fastest time, as you can defeat all three groups in about two and a half minutes per round. Chill Penguin and Frost Walrus are up first, followed by Wheel Gator and Bubble Crab, and rounding out the fight are Crescent Grizzly and Slash Beast. In the second and third rounds, you can sometimes stun-lock the two Mavericks together by using the Z-Saber, so practice the most efficient method of taking them down. Once you finish Round 3, you’ll earn this trophy.
A Class Hunter (X Challenge)
This one’s going to take some work, as you have to complete all ten X Challenge stages. The good news is for this one, you aren’t restricted to the X-Buster, so pick your weapons and go at it. Like the last trophy, you can earn it in Easy Mode, so if you’re just hunting for the trophy, this is an easier way of getting there. Six Mavericks per round for ten rounds means sixty fights, so settle in for the long haul. Once you’ve finished the last stage, the trophy will unlock.
Bronze Trophies (39)
Reconnaissance Complete
Easy peasy. Complete at least one game, then go to the Museum and view at least five images per title from Mega Man X through Mega Man X4 (for a total of 20). Once you’ve done this, change the wallpaper to any of the ones that say “Secret”, and the trophy will unlock.
Audio Signal Incoming
The description says you have to listen to ten tracks in the music player for “long enough” and then play a secret track, but this is woefully inadequate as a description. First off, you have to complete all X Challenge stages first (and get the trophy for that). Once you have done so, then go to the Music Player and listen to ten tracks all the way through so that they have finished their normal play length. Once that is complete, then you have to navigate to the bottom of the list and you’ll see a new track appear that’s titled “Give It A Shot (Extended)”. Play this song and the trophy will unlock.
Identity Erased
This one is fun. From the main menu, select the Staff Credits. You’ll get a playable X to control as they scroll by. Use X’s charged X-Buster shots to destroy as many names and lines of text as you can until you hear chimes. Once you’ve destroyed enough (my estimation was about 60% of the text), you’ll transport to the secret track (“Re:Future”). Once the last part of the credits is over, you’ll get the trophy.
He’s Actually Called Vava (Mega Man X)
For this one you have to play through the intro stage in both the English and the Japanese versions of the game. Press Square on the game select menu to switch between the two. It’s as simple as that; once you complete the intro stage in both versions the trophy will unlock. For those worried about the single save file system in Mega Man X to Mega Man X3, don’t worry — each version has separate save slots (so you can have one for Mega Man X and another for Rockman X).
In Buster We Trust (Mega Man X)
Defeat any one of the eight Mavericks with just the X-Buster. Chill Penguin is probably the best bet for this one.
Nobody Nose My Sorrow (Mega Man X)
For this one, use the Boomerang Cutter to chop off Flame Mammoth’s trunk. You can easily knock it out during the rematch fights when you encounter him in the third Sigma Fortress stage.
Just Plain Dillo (Mega Man X)
This will be almost an automatic one for everyone. Just use the Electric Spark to shock Armored Armadillo out of his armor. It’s his weakness anyway, so there’s no reason you shouldn’t get this one.
Gimp My Ride (Mega Man X)
Pick up a Ride Armor and destroy another one with it. You can accomplish it easily in Sting Chameleon’s stage or Sigma Fortress Stage 2.
Pretty (Devastating) In Pink (Mega Man X)
You have to use the Spiral Crush shot to finish off any boss. This is most easily accomplished by getting the trophy for Zero’s Buster (below), then using it as the final hit for the Bospider boss at the end of the level.
Re-Armed (Mega Man X)
Don’t grab the Arm Upgrade from Flame Mammoth’s stage. Wait until you fight through the first stage of Sigma’s Fortress and Zero will give you his Buster after you defeat Vile. The trophy unlocks once Zero fades away.
Never Hearts to be Careful (Mega Man X)
Collect all eight Heart Tanks to raise X’s HP to max (32 units). There is one per stage, so seek all of them out and the trophy will unlock.
First Armor (Mega Man X)
Collect all four components of the First Armor — the Leg Upgrade from Chill Penguin’s stage, the Head Upgrade from Storm Eagle’s stage, the Body Upgrade from Sting Chameleon’s stage, and the Arm Upgrade from either Flame Mammoth’s stage or get it from Zero. If Zero’s Buster is your last piece, you’ll get this trophy after he gives you his cannon parts.
It’s Over (Mega Man X)
You get this one for defeating Sigma’s final form. Nothing else to it.
Size Matters Not (Mega Man X2)
Complete the intro stage (Reploid Factory) with a full health bar. This doesn’t mean you can’t take any damage during the stage; you just have to fight the Gigantic Mechaniloid CF-0 and not get hit. Grab the health refill right before the boss to top off, then nail the boss with four fully charged X-Buster shots to nab this trophy.
Half the Sponge He Used to Be (Mega Man X2)
Cut Wire Sponge in half using the Sonic Slicer. Depending on your chosen stage order, you can do it while fighting the Mavericks the first time, but if you don’t have this weapon when you initially fight him, you can do it during the rematches in the fourth Sigma stage. Remember, you have to score the final hit with the Sonic Slicer for this trophy to unlock.
Covert Ops (Mega Man X2)
Quick note on this one: You must do this before defeating the boss — the trophy won’t be available to get if you are trying to do it on repeat trips through the stage. Anyway, this trophy requires you to make it through Magna Centipede’s stage without getting seen by the searchlights. You’ll know when you hit them because alarms start to go off.
There are two sets — one at the beginning and one right after the mid-stage checkpoint. For the first, take out the shield enemies and hide in the safe zones for the first two. Dash under the third, and then carefully dash under the fourth as it moves to the right.
The second set is after the Chop Register mini-boss. For this one, hang to the right as you slide down the wall and you’ll miss the first two. Dash under the second one when it moves to the left and then air dash quickly back to the right wall to miss the third one. Between the last two is a small safe zone that you can jump through and execute a quick air dash to slide right between the third and fourth lights. Once you clear the fourth one, you’re home free and can dash all the way across the bottom of the next room while avoiding the targeting sensor. Once you finish this section, continue on to the boss and the trophy will unlock when you defeat Magna Centipede.
Take Your Time (Mega Man X2)
This trophy is interesting, because growing up playing this series, I never knew that Morph Moth would steadily grow in size while in larva form if you just leave him alone. That’s the gist behind this trophy — you simply don’t damage him at all until his huge cocoon has burst and he transforms into his second form. You have to dodge a little more effectively because of his larger size, but as soon as he transforms, you’ll get the trophy.
Dodge This (Mega Man X2)
This trophy will unlock once you use the Giga Crush to score the final hit against any one boss. The fastest way to do it is to get the Body Upgrade from Morph Moth’s stage, and then take enough damage during the stage to refill its energy meter. Once you fight Morph Moth, get him to 1 HP, and then trigger the super attack to get the trophy.
Friendly Neighborhood Mega Man (Mega Man X2)
This one requires Morph Moth’s weapon, the Silk Shot, and the Arm Upgrade so you can fire charged versions of weapons. All you have to do is pick up any item using a charged Silk Shot attack. Best place to do it is in the secret room at the top of the first hangar in Overdrive Ostrich’s stage — dash jump to the left from the ramp that you have to knock down and then use a Spin Wheel to cut through the rock to reach this area.
Second Armor (Mega Man X2)
Collect all four components of the Second Armor — the Leg Upgrade from Overdrive Ostrich’s stage, the Head Upgrade from Crystal Snail’s stage, the Body Upgrade from Morph Moth’s stage, and the Arm Upgrade from Wheel Gator’s stage. Once you have all four, you will get the trophy.
Zero Squared (Mega Man X2)
You’ll get this trophy if you fight all three X-Hunters in the initial eight stages and collect Zero’s parts (kind of morbid, actually). As long as you have all three sections, Dr. Cain will rebuild Zero and he’ll show up in the fifth Sigma stage to rescue you from the black copy Sigma had built. Once this occurs, the trophy will unlock.
It’s Really Over (Mega Man X2)
You get this one for defeating the Sigma Virus. Nothing else to it.
All Units Stand By (Mega Man X3)
You’ll get this trophy at any point in the game once you have collected all four Ride Armor chips — Hawk, Frog, Kangaroo, and Chimera.
Fight Fair (Mega Man X3)
To get this, you just have to fight Vile in his mini-stage and destroy his Ride Armor using any method. The strategy is exceedingly simple — dash jump to the wall and dash jump over the Armor to get behind it. Drop down and fire a charged X-Buster shot, then dash to the other wall and repeat this pattern so that Vile never gets a chance to punch you. The trophy will unlock as soon as the Armor has been destroyed.
Always Believe in Your Soul (Mega Man X3)
For this one you have to obtain the secret Hyper Armor from the hidden Light Capsule in the first Doppler stage. Requirements up front are all Mavericks defeated, all four Sub Tanks, all eight Heart Tanks, all four Ride Armor chips and all pieces of the Third Armor completed with none of the four special chips that enhance a specific part of your armor.
Once the mini-boss has been taken out during the second half of the stage, you’ll reach a segment that leads downward with a few of the cannon gunners and wall crawler enemies. Take them all down and before going further, ensure X is at full health (use a Sub Tank if need be). Once you go down the next tunnel path, go to the edge of the pit and slide down the left-hand wall to enter a secret room that will contain another pink Light Capsule, provided you’ve met all requirements. Stepping into this one will grant you the gold and black “Hyper Armor,” which gives you the powers of all four special enhancement chips. The trophy will unlock as soon as you’ve gotten the armor.
Note: In order to get all trophies in one playthrough, save before entering this level. Get the Hyper Armor for the trophy, then soft reset and play the level again, this time skipping the steps for this. You only get the “X-Treme Danger” trophy by defeating Kaiser Sigma without this specialized armor.
Third Armor (Mega Man X3)
Collect all four components of the Third (MAX) Armor — the Leg Upgrade from Blizzard Buffalo’s stage, the Head Upgrade from Tunnel Rhino’s stage, the Body Upgrade from Volt Catfish’s stage, and the Arm Upgrade from Neon Tiger’s stage. Once you have all four, you will get the trophy.
It’s Over… Right? (Mega Man X3)
Once you’ve escaped from the Sigma Virus and either Dr. Doppler or Zero rescues you, you’ll get this trophy. Simple.
Pew Pew (Mega Man X4)
Another very simple trophy. Defeat all eight Mavericks, and then one by one, fire a charged version of all eight special weapons with each Arm Upgrade to unlock this trophy.
Way of the Saber (Mega Man X4)
Also very simple, and one that’ll likely be earned in your normal gameplay with Zero. All you have to do is use all eight Saber techniques in a single playthrough. Once you’ve used each one at least once, the trophy will unlock.
Fully Charged (Mega Man X4)
This is a 100% items trophy. Acquire all eight Heart Tanks, both Life Sub Tanks, the Weapon Sub Tank (fill all three tanks to capacity), the special EX Item, and then finish it all off with getting your extra life tally to nine. After getting all of these, the trophy will unlock as long as you also have full life energy and full energy for all weapons.
He Brought Fists to a Mech Fight (Mega Man X4)
This one sounds like a pain, but you can cheese the requirements very easily. The gist is that you have to defeat Magma Dragoon using a Ride Armor. The main reason that it sounds difficult is because a Ride Armor can only take so many hits, and Dragoon himself is pretty agile while the Ride Armor is not. However, you can take the bottom path with the Ride Armor you pick up in the stage to get into the boss room and immediately eject when the fight starts. Now just fight Magma Dragoon normally until he’s at very low HP, and hop back in your waiting Ride Armor to score the final hits. During his death sequence, the trophy will unlock.
It Ain’t Ova Till It’s Nova (Mega Man X4)
This one is simple as well. Use X’s special Nova Strike (either gained with the Ultimate Armor or by using the Body Upgrade) to score the final hit against any boss. Once you accomplish this, you’ll unlock the trophy.
Fourth Armor (Mega Man X4)
Collect all four components of the Fourth (Force) Armor — the Leg Upgrade from Web Spider’s stage, the Head Upgrade from Cyber Peacock’s stage, the Body Upgrade from Magma Dragoon’s stage, and one of the two Arm Upgrades from Storm Owl’s stage (anyone worth their salt knows the Plasma Shot overrules the Stock Charge in terms of damage output). Once you have all four, the trophy will unlock.
It’s Definitely Over (Mega Man X4)
Sigma’s got two final forms this in this game, so once you successfully defeat both Earth Sigma and the Sigma Gunner, you’ll get this trophy.
True Hero (Mega Man X4)
To get this one, you have to beat the game as X without acquiring the secret Ultimate Armor from Dr. Light. Just play the game normally and don’t input the special code at the initial character select screen and you’ll get the trophy after defeating both of Sigma’s final forms.
Promise Me, Zero (Mega Man X4)
All you have to do for this one is to beat the game using X as your character. Easy peasy.
Mavericks After All (Mega Man X4)
All you have to do for this is to beat the game using Zero as your character.
What’s Your Hunter Rank?
This one is fairly weird, in that I did the requirements for it, but it didn’t unlock until I had done it three or four times. Once you complete any X Challenge stage, you simply go to the Leaderboard to check your rank for that stage. Sometimes it says you have no rank, and I repeated this process until finally it showed me a rather pitiful rank (I won’t lie, I tested X Challenge trophies using Easy Mode to see if you could earn them). Anyway, the trophy eventually unlocked.
