After All These Years, Mega Man Finally Gets His Own Cereal

Well, sort of.

Mega Man is certainly getting a cereal, of that you can rest assured, but to call it his own? Well, sort of, sort of not.

Over on their blog, Funko has revealed new FunkO’s cereals, each based on a variety of characters ranging from Mega Man to Cuphead & Mugman to Jason Voorhees. While all FunkO’s share the same O shape, most come in red, while The Lord of the Rings‘ Gollum gets green and Mega Man’s are true blue (as you can see above).

The color isn’t just for show, as Funko promises that whatever they’re using to achieve these saturated hues will turn your milk that color as well. If that wasn’t enough, you’ll also find a prize swimming among your O’s — a collectible figure, of course.

Each cereal will be available in July at a variety of retailers, with Mega Man’s exclusive to GameStop, and more to be released throughout the year.  No price is mentioned, but something tells me they’ll probably cost a little more than your average box of Frosted Flakes.
