Rock Out to This Original Tune for Mega Man X Legacy Collection

Looking back a couple of weeks to when Capcom released their preview trailer for Mega Man X Legacy Collection, there was also a trailer for Rockman X Anniversary Collection, and that trailer featured different music — an original tune, no less.

Today, the official Mega Man YouTube channel has released a “preview” of the upcoming collection which focuses exclusively on that very same tune, minus the sound effects that accompanied it in the trailer. And you can check it out for yourself here:

According to the video’s description, this is but one of “several brand new, original tracks” made for the two collections, though in just what capacity they’ll be used is unspecified (intros, menus, and the like would be a good guess).

They also add a warning that this tune “may cause an intense need to play air guitar.”

Mega Man X Legacy Collection and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 can be purchased on July 24th digitally on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One — including the Xbox One X. Or you can hop down to your local EBX (or equivalent) to grab a physical copy. X-cited yet?
