A Look Back at the Road to Mega Man 11
It’s been a long road to the announcement of Mega Man 11, second only to the gap between Mega Man 8 and Mega Man 9 (not counting those other series whose games have yet to be followed up on, of course). But while the previous gap was longer, it was arguably mitigated by all of the other Mega Man games which were released in the intervening time.
But the wait for Mega Man 11 — or just any announcement of a new game featuring any Blue Bomber — had no such luxury along the way. In fact, it was a path paved with quite a bit of turmoil the likes of which the fandom has never seen.
If you’re new to Mega Man, or perhaps have simply returned after an extended leave and are wondering what all the fuss is about, then ShadowRockZX has you covered with a new video which looks back at how we got to this point:

2018, the year of Mega Man’s 30th anniversary (yes, his birthday is in a few days, but the celebration is clearly following, and for more than half a month) is looking to be a great one for fans — the best we’ve had in a long time. And just think — we probably don’t even know everything that’s in the works yet!
