Crowdfunding Corner with Android Hunter A & C-Busters
You might recall that in September of last year, a game called Android Hunter A hit the now-defunct Steam Greenlight. That campaign was apparently a success — now it’s just a matter of getting the rest of it funded.
To that end, developer DigiBlox has taken to Kickstarter in an effort to acquire the rest of the money necessary to make the game a reality, bringing with it some new trailers. Here is the one used for the Kickstarter campaign itself:
That’s not all, however, as a new gameplay trailer was also uploaded last month, showcasing the “Lighting updates, mechanical optimizations and updated u.i.” that are just a few of the things they’ve been working on since we last saw it.
You can learn more about the game at the Kickstarter page, where 42 backers have already pledged $9,026 towards their goal of $150,000, with 28 days to go. Surpassing that goal by reaching $200,000 will allow them to take the game beyond the various PC platforms and onto consoles such as the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, while further goals would add additional modes such as Boss Attack and Online Versus.
Thanks to thelafman for passing this my way!
Elsewhere, Indiegogo has a campaign going on for a heavy metal Mega Man music album from Thennecan titled “C-Busters”:
This one is much further along towards a much smaller goal, with $251 USD of $500 raised from ten backers, with 23 days left to spare. Check out the Indiegogo page here to see the proposed track listing, available reward tiers for backing this project, and just what the different portions of the funds raised will be going towards.
