Capcom Goes to WonderCon

If you’re going to be around Anaheim, CA for WonderCon this weekend (March 31st to April 2nd), then good news! Capcom is going to be there, too!

There is no Mega Man presence to speak of announced for the event, but that doesn’t mean there will be a complete absence of the Blue Bomber. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be on hand for folks to come up and play, allowing fans to take up arms with colleagues Zero and Tron Bonne.

What’s more, The Disney Afternoon Collection will also be there, including the Mega Man-esque adventures of one Darkwing Duck!

Other games will be on hand as well, including Resident Evil 7 biohazard (and its latest downloadable content), Street Fighter V (including tournaments), and the Nintendo Switch-exclusive Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers. On that note, a Street Fighter: 30th anniversary panel will be held from 2:30pm to 3:30pm in Room 300DE on Saturday.  “Expect updates on all current and upcoming products, news on the Capcom Pro Tour, and a few surprises as well!”

(I’m personally hoping that they’re waiting to have a panel to talk about Mega Man sometime later in the year. Say, after a certain upcoming animated series has been officially revealed? {And no, I’m not counting the leaks in that. Can’t talk about that stuff right now.})

Finally, the Capcom Store will be on hand, so this could be a prime opportunity to pick up some cool Mega Man swag, should they have any on-hand.
