Rumor: Is Marvel vs. Capcom 4 Happening?
Huh, well that’s interesting timing… unless Battle Geek Plus’s video was prompted by these rumors.
In any case, there’s been buzz going around that a fourth entry in Capcom’s most epic crossover clash may be on the way, and could be poised to be revealed at PlayStation Experience 2016, which will take place on December 3rd and 4th at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Spurring these rumors on are the following three images, purportedly from a trailer for the title:
Of course, as has happened so often in the past as people seem to get continually better at it, there is the possibility that these could be fakes as well.
In the meantime, Capcom’s fighting game Producer/Director Ryota Niitsuma has stated on Twitter:
Thanks for keeping the love for the game going! I would love to make #mvc4, but nothing’s happening on that front. RT @PG_Erdogan @JWonggg N

Now, this was stated back in September, so there’s the possibility that things could have changed. Then again, if he was working on it, you wouldn’t really expect him to just casually announce it in a tweet, would you?
So what do you think? Is it time to get crazy again? Or is this just a marvel-ous hoax? Discuss your thoughts in the comments below!
