Mega Man is One of Five Reasons to Own a Super NES
A little over a year ago, Roger the Retrogaming Puppet of On the Stick gave us “Five Reasons to Import a Famicom,” featuring Wily and Right no Rockboard – That’s Paradise. This year, he’s back to celebrate 25 years of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and once again, the Blue Bomber proves to be 20 percent of the reasoning that one must own the console, as these games can be found nowhere else — no Virtual Consoles, no collections, just the original release.
Given the number of great Mega Man games available on Nintendo’s 16-bit home console, it’s hard to argue that they’re good reasons to own a Super NES, even though they are all now available elsewhere. But Mega Man Soccer? It has its fans, but your mileage may vary.
What do you think? Is it worth its fifth of the reasons for owning a Super NES? Or do you think, even being a Mega Man fan, that spot might be better suited by another game? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
