Tri Wing Kickstarter Boasts Mega Man Battle Network-Inspired Action
For over a year, Vincent Veak has been hard at work trying to realize his vision of a game called Tri Wing. Featuring robots engaged in card-based combat across a 3×6 grid that should be familiar to anyone who’s played Mega Man Battle Network, this project has also been influenced by other big-name titles as Hearthstone and Street Fighter, and places an emphasis on the combat, rather than role playing elements.
In order to move the project along with greater expedience, Veak has taken to Kickstarter in an effort to gain funding for his project. You can read all about that here (I’d have embedded the video, but no such version seems to exist), and you can find several videos showing off more gameplay on his YouTube channel.
As of this writing, Veak has obtained $1,785 towards his $3,000 goal from 48 backers with seven days left to go before the Kickstarter ends.
Thanks for the tip, Atom!
