A New Rival Appears in Mega Man X: Corrupted

Following the recent report of a new video from JKB Games highlighting the “feature complete” version of the weapon factory from their fan game, “Mega Man X: Corrupted,” another video has emerged to highlight what looks to be a new major player in the game — a rival-type character who goes by the name of Strike:

According to the video’s description, this is just an early test to show the character, and the final version will have more attacks and patterns.

That said, Strike seems pretty neat — almost as though he’s meant to specifically counter X’s signature weapon, even. He looks like he’d be a fun challenge, but can you imagine playing as him? That would be pretty neat, but nothing of the sort has been indicated. At least, not yet.
