New Project X Zone 2 Trailer Announces Demo Release Date
Project X Zone 2, a strategy role playing game which combines characters and worlds from various Capcom, SEGA, and Bandai Namco franchises, will be available on the Nintendo 3DS in North America on February 16th, 2016. However, those eager to play it sooner may just get their wish…
Though the trailer features little if any footage featuring characters from the Mega Man series, it does reveal that a demo version will be added to the Nintendo eShop on January 26th, 2016.
The game was originally to have a worldwide release, but instead saw a delay outside of Japan, while those in Japan itself were able to play it starting November 12th, 2015. Through this, it looks like it’s safe to say that Tron and her Servbots are missing out on the crossover action this time, but Mega Man X and Zero remain from before, as does Vile, now in his Mark II armor. And, as previously noted, Sigma is putting in an appearance as well in his Mega Man X4 “reaper” body.
