Mega Man Xtreme and Battle Network on Sale in NA Nintendo eShop
Good news, everyone!
If for some reason you have not yet chosen to get either Mega Man Xtreme or Mega Man Battle Network for the Virtual Console in their respective North American Nintendo eShops, then now is the time!
Until 8:59am PT on January 21st, you can get Mega Man Xtreme for the Nintendo 3DS for just $3.49 USD — that’s a buck-fifty off the regular price. Meanwhile, over on the Wii U, Mega Man Battle Network is down to $5.59 USD from its normal price of $7.99.
Plus, if you’re interested in more Mega Man-esque platforming run ‘n gun action inspired by the Blue Bomber, then you might want to check out Gunman Clive 2 for the Nintendo 3DS — it’s also on sale for $1.99, a buck off its already-low $2.99 price tag.
There are also plenty of other games on sale, too — you can check those out here.
On a related note: I wasn’t going to bother mentioning this, but since I’m already talking about games on sale, I figured I’d lump it in here. The PlayStation store is having a “PlayStation Essentials” sale, and “full game unlocks” for both Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 are listed…
…but marked as “unavailable.” How does that even happen? I don’t know, nor do I know why they’d even be listed if they’re not available. But that’s where we are — maybe you’ll have better luck than I did with it? Just remember that these two are for the PlayStation 3 only.
Update: Thanks to Forci in the comments below, it looks like there are some sale pages for Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 after all! Each is just $4 USD, down from their normal $9.99 USD!
