Aero’s Voice Actress Revealed? (Update: Nope!)

During the development of the Mega Man Legends 3 Project, one might remember that some voice recording took place for the ill-fated demo that was meant to see light with the debut of the Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo 3DS, but was unceremoniously shelved leading to the project’s cancellation. One of the parts recorded was for Aero, but the Devroom interview left the identity of the person portraying her a secret.

However, thanks to some sleuthing by Skybane_Zero of Get Me Off The Moon, the identity of the voice behind this member of the Bright Bats may no longer be a mystery!

(Then again, it apparently may remain that way for a while yet. See the update below.)

From Get Me Off The Moon: “In an old anonymous Devroom interview, Aero’s voice actress had said that she grew up without a television set and also worked on a game with Mega Man characters a year before this interview. Tara Platt had also voiced Tron Bonne in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, and I literally just listened to an interview with her on YT where she said that she grew up without a television set. Coincidence? I think not!“

Update: Following a separate blog post on the matter from a Destructoid community member, Ms. Platt herself has come forward on Twitter to deny that she provided Aero’s voice. Ah well, looks like the mystery will persist!
