Glitch Warrior Seeks Funding on Kickstarter
A new Mega Man-esque project has hit Steam Greenlight, and is currently seeking funding through Kickstarter.
Titled “Glitch Warrior,” the game certainly wears its Blue Bomber inspiration on its sleeve with the style of platforming and enemies presented, including some two-headed robot… er, ducks? …which have a similar size, stature, and fire-breathing attack as the Frienders (aka Hot Dogs) from Mega Man 2.
Where this game stands apart, however, is in the “sandbox” of tools given to the player. Ever used the debug mode in Sonic the Hedgehog 2? Such boundary-breaking is par for the course in this title, which notes that it was also inspired by people doing speedruns in various games.
More details can be found on m07 Games’ Kickstarter page for the project, where there are 16 days remaining and they’ve so far only obtained $448 of their $8,000 goal.
