Pit, Palutena, & Viridi Gush Over Mega Man, Plus Smash Remixes
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is on the near horizon, and boy-howdy, does it ever contain a lot of content! For those who just can’t wait to peel back the layers of this action-packed onion to reach the Mega Man goodness, here is some of what you’ll find within.
For starters, by way of a tip from Vhyper1985, GameXplain reveals the conversation that Pit, Palutena, and Viridi from Kid Icarus Uprising will have if you repeatedly press “Down” on the Dpad until Pit takes a praying stance in the Palutena’s Temple stage:
And of course, Ludwig von Koopa and Captain Falcon are there, too, if you’re interested.
With that out of the way, there is also a plethora of music to be heard as well, starting with a different “Mega Man Retro Medley” than the one we heard in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS:
In addition to that, Magnet_Man also tipped us off to a brief glimpse of the “Mega Man 4-6 Retro Medley,” which can be heard by clicking here.
And finally, thanks to Heat Man, you can hear arranged versions of the stage themes for Cut Man, Quick Man, and Shadow Man below:
Incidentally, we’re not sure if anyone has found all of the music yet, but the Mega Man collection is nonetheless considerable at a whopping 10 songs to be heard when playing on the Dr. Wily’s Castle stage of the soon-to-be-released game.
