Mega Man Games Now On Sale in Nintendo eShop

As we reported previously, this week’s Nintendo Download update has a new sale featuring none other than Mega Man as one of “Your Favorite Gaming Friends.”

Unfortunately, there are no new releases in the Nintendo eShop to correspond with the sale. However, if you’re interested in picking up any of the first four games from the Classic series for your Wii U or Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console, they are each now available for $3.49 until 9am PT on November 28th, rather than the normal price of $4.99 each one commands.

As a side note: If you’ve already purchased one of these games on the Wii Virtual Console and have performed the system transfer to bring them over to your Wii U, then you can upgrade them for only $1 each to enjoy such functionality as custom button mapping, Restore Points (aka Save States), Off TV play on the Wii U GamePad, and Miiverse integration. Or you can still play them in the console’s Wii Mode, but you won’t be able to use any of the newer controllers to do so.
