Announcing the Winners for the Doujin Album Giveaway!
Greetings all! I have to apologize, I’m a bit behind at posting the results to our latest giveaway. You might say I’ve been mighty distracted lately! But now I’m happy to announce the two winners we chose for the giveaway, who will each get their own copy of Mega Rock Carnival. And those two winners are…
Blue and Anthony!
Congratulations you two! We’ve already contacted you, so please check your mail! We will place Blue’s and Anthony’s comments after the break. And to the rest of you who entered, thank you for viewing The Mega Man Network! I promise you, we have more giveaways on the way! Until then!

August 27, 2013 at 8:10 PMI surprised myself with this, but the ZX series has my favorite music. To me, the music feels like the Classic series with a more diverse sound(I don’t dislike chiptune, I just prefer this), and also has a wide variety of tunes. They all fit well with the environment that you’re in, from the peaceful Brilliant Show Window to the harder-sounding Ogre Claw. Path to the Truth, Green Grass Gradation, Overloaded, High-Press Energy, Snake Eyes, they’re all great. The boss themes are also good, especially Trap Factory/Phantasm/whatever they’re calling Prometheus and Pandora’s fight theme now. I always keep coming back to it and all of its variations; it’s one of my all-time favorite VGM pieces ever.
This was actually a really hard decision, since there just is so much good music in the Mega Man games. It’s really just based on a person’s specific tastes, since most of the games have objectively great soundtracks.

August 26, 2013 at 9:35 PMEvery Mega Man series has amazing tracks that have left an impression on me. None, however, have left as much of an impression on me as the classic Mega Man music. The tracks are all simple, but work to express the feeling of each stage and robot master. Two of my personal favorites being Snake Man’s and Spark Man’s stages.
