100,000 Strong for Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3 Says “Let’s Rocket!” This Saturday

Skybane Zero-x of 100,000 Strong for Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3/Get Me Off The Moon has dropped us a note to let everyone know that this Saturday, January 12th will see the launch of the special five-foot model rocket they set out to construct earlier last year. Sure, this one won’t get MegaMan Volnutt off the moon any faster, but still makes a nice symbolic gesture.
The event will be held at 2pm at the Hearne Municipal Airport in Hearne, Texas, and is a public event, “so anyone living in this area is free to drop by, meet the team, and watch our rocket take off!” For those curious, the rocket itself was constructed by a model rocketry professional of 18 years, and is designed to look like the one being constructed by Roll Caskett and Tron Bonne in the ill-fated Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version.
