Ippo Yamada Starts a Band, Knocks Out a ZX Tune

Here’s a little something to cool you down from this blue-hot Mega Man and Sonic crossover news. Ippo Yamada of Inti Creates has seemingly started his own band, SENSORS. Ippo himself is on bass and production. Ryo Kawakami, who has also played a major role in Inti’s Mega Man soundtracks, handles keyboards. And I’m not certain who T.G is, but he’s on drums.

In the video above, SENSORS performs “Trap Factory,” the well known battle theme for Prometheus and Pandora from Mega Man ZX. They also have an original tune on their site. Perhaps this is a sign of more arranged Mega Man music to come? At the very least, we might get some live shows in Japan.
