ScrewAttack Looks at Obscure and Forgotten Mega Man Games
One of ScrewAttack’s “G1s,” MegaSilverX1, has done his part to shine a little light on our favorite robot-blasting franchise by making a post to the site about “obscure and forgotten” Mega Man games.
Admittedly, titles such as Mega Man Powered Up and Mega Man Xtreme are likely anything but forgotten among more savvy Blue Bomber fans, but there are a few items of interest here. Besides a peek at the seldom-seen 2001 PC game Rockman Strategy, the article also contains a look at Panic Shot! Rockman Pinball from all the way back in 1992!
They also veer into seedy underbelly of Mega Man gaming by examining a couple of knock-off products, such as Rockman X3 (or “xxxXX3” if you go by the label) for the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive and “Rockman DX3” for the Game Boy Color. To no one’s surprise, neither are considered worth playing…
This is also the second such article on the topic; you can check out the first from last month here, which features titles such as Mega Man: The Wily Wars and the Game Gear Mega Man.
That said, which one would you most want to play (assuming you haven’t somehow played all of these), or see re-released?
