Cinemassacre Looks at Glitches in Mega Man
Approximately one year ago, James “The Angry Video Game Nerd” Rolfe took a look at a number of glitches found across a number of classic (and not-so classic) games, including some titles from the Mega Man series (and if you missed that, you can find out more here). Since then, Rolfe’s friend Mike (whose full name we won’t be posting here) has been looking at more glitches found in the Blue Bomber’s titles on their website, Cinemassacre.
The first video apparently escaped our notice, but you can check it out here and find some really strange things you can do within the confines of Dr. Wily‘s castle walls in both Mega Man and Mega Man 2 on the Nintendo Entertainment System (no idea if any of them work on any other version– feel free to tell us in the comments below!). But do be warned of Not Safe For Work language.
The second video is considerably fresher, but carries the same NSFW warning, naturally. Here, you’ll find some weird things which the testers apparently missed in Mega Man 2, Mega Man 3, and Mega Man 4 for the NES, as well as Mega Man 7 on the Super NES.
So, try them out for yourself at home! Amaze your friends! Confound your enemies! Bewilder judges in video game tournaments when things aren’t going your way and you need a second turn!*
* Note: The Mega Man Network does not condone bewildering video game tournament judges when things don’t go your way, and accepts no responsibility if they just throw you out instead of giving you another chance.
