Mega Man 2.5D is Back… with Twice the Fun!

A while back we posted about a proof of concept game called Mega Man 2.5D which featured being able to play Mega Man 2 in rotating environments.  A new update by the author of the first video is out and details what’s been added.  It features more Mega Man 2 content, from Quick Man’s beams to the even more annoying (but not too flickery) dragon, but that content isn’t the only new addition.
A brand new feature based off of Snake Man’s stage was featured, showing co-op play.  Check the video for more information while I pick my jaw off the floor.

Another interesting tidbit would be the game project’s new site.  Completely new, it’s still pretty rough around the edges, but it features things which are exactly what anyone who wants to check out the game would want, namely 720p images of the project in action.  You can check them out here: http://petersjostrand.com/
